Mother Cat Bonnie

Mother Cat Bonnie

Bonnie and her kittens lived with a family that loved them very much but they could not afford them. In this family’s  care, they enjoyed all the things that make kittens very sociable. They had little gentle children, friendly pit bulls and adults that handled them each with great care. This family of cats were blessed to have such love. Sadly finances didn’t permit them being kept. The family called Safe Haven and asked us to take them into our care and we did.

This family of cats was blessed again, to enter our No Kill organization and land into the gentle hands of their foster moms, two young student volunteers Becca and Debbie. With the permission of their mom, they could foster and they have done a great job. But the problem is that their kitty has had it with sharing her home with foster cats, so we must move Bonnie and her kittens out to keep peace with their own cat. So Bonnie and her two kittens must leave their foster home tomorrow and they need either permanent homes or a foster home FAST!!.

So let’s introduce you to them.

Bonnie, the mother cat is only 2 years old. She is a love. She was a great mom to all 5 of her kittens and when the first three found homes she grieved for them. It was very hard for her to say goodbye. Luckily she still has Chrissy and Pepper to love. Bonnie is “super lovey:” and follows her foster mom all around the house like a little devoted dog. She is a lap cat and has all the personality that makes for a perfect family member. She’s great with children, dogs, adults, she’s up to date, spayed and tested negative for feline leukemia and feline aids. She is healthy and ready to go! Her photo is above. As you can see she’s beautiful!

Chrissy and Pepper: The two kittens are so like their momma. They are beautiful and sleek shiny black and have inherited the same wonderful sweet and friendly personality of their mom.

Chrissy is so cute and got her name because her beautiful eyes have a tendency to criss cross at times like in her glamor shot below! Her foster moms say she’s a real “goof ball” and lots of fun. She has all the great qualities that her mom has, great with kids, dogs, people.

Pepper is also a female and is a little more reserved and would prefer to go home with her momma Bonnie or be paired up with her sister Crissy. She is good with children, adults and cat friendly dogs as well but is just a little timid at first. Shy kitties do so much better when they get to go home with a kitty they are familiar with. She too likes to follow her foster mom around and see what’s going on all the time. Her favorite toy is the wand with the feather on it. That’s the best toy ever!!

So how about it? They are GREAT with kids, cat friendly dogs, people. Their adoption fees are reduced, they are very healthy, they’ve had all their medical work.

If you need a little more incentive, they deserve a home. While little kittens are in great demand, kittens who are only 7 months old as well as adult cats have to sit and wait. They each DESERVE homes and are some are long overdue for their turn at it.

So give us a call. Bonnie, Chrissy and Pepper are waiting!

Thank you!
