Kittens and kitties in desperate need of fostering!

Gracie's friends have been killed by dogs, she is at risk

We were recently contacted by a person very distraught about 3 cats from the same home getting outside and getting killed by the neighbor’s dogs. The Animal Control Officer was called in and the family that owned the cats were told to keep their cats out of the neighbors yard. The kitties owner is having a very hard time keeping the remaining cats inside. They were indoor/outdoor prior to a move and they are getting out due to children not being fast enough with the door. The fence to the neighbors yard is right next to their door.Gracie is now being kept in a bedroom behind closed doors but she can not live the rest of her life confined to a bedroom, and her owner can’t run of risk of her ever getting out and possibly killed by the neighbor’s dogs.

Tearfully, the owner has asked Safe Haven to please take Gracie (above) who is only about a year old and very dear and sweet as well as Gracie’s sister who is nursing 3 kittens.  Gracie can be fostered by herself or adopted by herself as she is no longer bonded to her sister (below)  who is nursing her three darling tiger and white kittens. Three kittens only 3-4 weeks and their momma need to be fostered now!

If you can foster, we need you now! Do you have a quiet room in your home and lots of love? You could foster either Gracie by herself, or the mom kitty and her 3 adorable kittens. They are nursing and the mom is doing most of the work right now. The mom is friendly and so deserving of love. Call Joyce at 229-8314 ASAP. We need to help these cats! Thank you!

PS: If you would LOVE to foster but can’t, maybe you could help us financially with these 5 cats. Each one will need to be tested, receive age appropriate vaccinations, be spayed or neutered , and be treated for fleas and worms. This averages about $125 per kitty, and that doesn’t include any medical issues that can arise, nor does it cover their food and litter needs. So as you can see, any intake costs us $$$ and we need sponsors for each kittie in our program.

If you want to sponsor any of these kitties for $10 a month, we need you. You can either pay via Pay Pal or mail us a ck to Safe Haven  PO Box 91 Wells, ME 04090, mark it with the kitties name and be sure we have your phone #. Call us if you have any questions 207 229 8314. Thanks for helping us with Safe Haven’s No Kill journey. It’s not an easy one, but it’s so worth while.

Gracie appreciates your kindness!

If you appreciate our No-Kill work, please consider making a small donation.

Thank you for supporting Safe Haven's No Kill rescue work

The kitties thank you!
