I am so glad Safe Haven has a blog so I can tell you about my journey! Just a few days ago I thought my luck had run out. I was sitting on the roadside hungry, confused and really worried about my next meal. I just sat there counting cars and wondering what to do next when a car stopped! Some nice woman got out and called to me. I looked around to see if she meant someone else and then realized she was calling ME! I ran to her! I sat right on her lap in her car and I burst out PURRRRRING!!! You should have seen the beautiful smile on her face when she looked at me!
She took me home and she and her husband didn’t know what to do because they just adopted Hemingway from Safe Haven and Hemingway is a kitty that wants and needs to be an only kitty so they called Safe Haven and it was decided that I could come into the adoption center soon and hopefully get adopted! Laurie and her husband are going to sponsor me until I get adopted and that sure will help Safe Haven!
Laurie has gotten to know me and she knows that I’m a playful lovebug of a kitten. I’m not a year old yet and I have so much energy and fascination with life. I love to play and get very excited when I do. When I do get tired out, I love nothing better than to take a nap in Laurie’s arms or under the covers with her! It is so wonderful to be loved by someone! When I wake up, I follow her around like a dog. I know she’d adopt me if she could but she knows her loyalty to Hemingway is number one on her list and that’s a good thing for Hemingway.
I’ll be going to the adoption center tomorrow. I’m a little scared, but I know I’ll be loved there. Please tell all your friends about me and tell them to come visit and consider adopting me. What a lucky cat I am that Laurie saw me sitting on the roadside and that Safe Haven will be sure I get a wonderful home! Please fill out an adoption application for me and come visit me! I know what I’m praying for tonight!
Nitey nite!

The kitties thank you!
