Bangor Savings Bank has kicked off its annual Community Matters More charitable giving program, and plans to distribute $100,000 to 68 local nonprofits throughout Maine. We’d like Safe Haven to be one of them — but we need your help.
You can nominate Safe Haven to receive a grant. Now through March 7 go to their website and vote.
At the bottom is the “York County” section. Scroll down and add “Safe Haven Humane Society, Wells,” then click the Submit Your Vote button.
Already, some 30,000 votes have been cast, said Carol Colson, Bangor Savings’ senior vice president and director of community relations.
