Note: Yard Sale continues today (Monday 10/22)
Wind, fog and rain can’t bully Safe Haven from getting our work done. Despite the threatening forecast, our little yard sale team managed to weather the perfect storm and bring in a good catch that will help us pay our medical bills for our kitties!
No one can ever say that volunteering isn’t fun at our yard sales. Steph and Tiff weathered the perfect storm happily and helped us reel in some cold cash for our kitties!
Lots of customers dug thru boxes of treasures and filled their baskets and boxes with goodies that brought a smile to their hearts. Everyone had a good time as lamps and teacups and vintage albums found new homes with bargain shoppers.
While we braved the stormy weather, Marilyn and Kathy managed two separate adoption events in Sanford. Marilyn found a home for dear Carley, a long term resident kitty, and two kittens on Saturday and two kittens (Zahara and Hebony) on Sunday. Kathy found homes for three sibling kittens to one family on Saturday which makes us all thrilled as we love keeping litters together!
All during the weekend, our hardworking care care-giving team cared for our kitties at our adoption center making sure everyone’ s belly was full and that everyone was comfy and happy.
We have one more day to go for our October yard sale. Then we begin all over again and do it in November, but next time we’ll be indoors in the auction barn next door. Please continue to donate to us so we can offer another great sale to everyone and help our kitties get their vet bills paid! Thanks!
The kitties thank you!
