It’s one of the questions we’re asked most often: Why do we prefer our kitties to be adopted in pairs? Answer: They get lonely!
But two kittens are never lonely. Siblings love staying together, and prior to weaning form a tight bond that lasts a lifetime.
Kitties who are bonded also groom one another, learn from each other, and play with one another — often until they’re exhausted. They’re so full of energy, you don’t have to expend yours playing with them (unless you want to, of course). Kitties have each other!
Many young kittens get bored and restless if all alone during the day. That’s when they get into trouble. Remember, they grew up in a tight family and did everything together.
When you adopt two kitties, you won’t have to feel guilty about leaving them behind when you go to work or shopping. They’ll be so busy playing and grooming each other, they’re much less likely to become sad, scared — or start acting out.
Here’s another good thing about adopting two. You’ll save on the cost of movie tickets. With your kitties’ silly antics, you’ll have all the entertainment you want!
