Misty, age 21, is home at last

Another very special adoption to report.

Misty, 21 years old (yes!), has happily settled into her new home and is getting along great with the other kitty in the family. In fact, I understand that Misty let the younger cat know that she was not going to take any guff from anyone younger than her. They’ve adjusted beautifully and Misty is home to stay.

According to our cat age/human age chart, a cat who’s 21 years old is comparable to a person aged 104!

Cats live longer now, thanks to advances in veterinary care, loving care by their families, and because more are kept indoors. In fact, some cats have been known to live to the age of 28. If interested check out the kitty age chart on the Safe Haven website.

The kitties thank you!
